Volunteering at There With Care
Join us in providing support to families facing a medical crisis. We count on volunteers to help us pack food, assemble specialized care bags, organize collection drives, and deliver necessities to the families we serve. We have many volunteer opportunities for you to choose from.
About our opportunities:
Volunteers must be 18 and older to deliver and 16 or older to work in the warehouse. We have in-person and virtual training available. You can sign up for training within the sections below. Training is needed for volunteers who deliver care bags to the families we serve. Many of our other opportunities do not require training. More information about these options can be found below.
Youth Volunteer Opportunities
There With Care is a great place to earn service hours for schools, churches and other organizations.
Children 13 and older can volunteer onsite with a parent/adult. Younger children can participate in our bag decorating program or shop for and assemble care bags with a parent.

We have many volunteer opportunities that do not require a donation. We do ask for you to pay for your background check which is a one-time fee of $30.
We are handling food and other items that go to the families we serve. We want to make sure that all of our volunteers are healthy and not spreading any potential illness to our staff and families.
We can verify service hours in a variety of ways. Please let us know if you are tracking hours and need credit for your volunteer time.

Yes, but it is always helpful for us to know how many of you are coming. Please let us know your final numbers if there is a significant change.
Volunteers who are 13 -15 years old can volunteer at our office/warehouse with an adult. Volunteers who are 16 and older are welcome to sign up for volunteering in our warehouse. To deliver, we ask that the primary volunteer be at least 18 years old, but students are welcome to join their parents in this opportunity.
