There With Care’s mission is to provide a wide range of meaningful and fundamental services to children and families during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We serve families referred by medical agencies by building a network of services and people who ease the burden of life’s day-to-day obligations with compassion and care. 

The operations coordinator provides a consistent structure to support the organization’s operational processes and data tracking needs. The operations Coordinator works closely with the Operations Director to track There With Care’s program activity and analyze its impact and financial efficiency.

• Has excellent data entry skills and is able to manage large amounts of data.
• Has the ability to see how his/her role contributes to the larger mission of the organization.
• Has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to evaluate volunteer strengths.
• Is comfortable working with a volunteer staff and able to mentor and support this group.

Job Responsibilities

The Operations Coordinator will perform their duties and responsibilities in line with There With Care’s core values.

• Help to create an environment that is caring and kind to our community of volunteers and donors. 
• Follow established procedures and guidelines that are in place to protect our families and the organization. The operations coordinator will continually evaluate these procedures and collaborate with the Operations Director to update as necessary.
• Ensure completion of new-hire checklist during new staff onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws.

The Operations Associate is responsible for supporting the overall operations at There With Care. Specifically, this role is responsible for:

•  warehouse maintenance for two pantries-Redwood City, and Family House in San Francisco. 
• stocking, and cleaning warehouse.
•  packing deliveries for families.
•  receiving donations and produce deliveries.
•  conduct cycle counts quarterly
• transporting care packages to SF weekly with own vehicle, mileage reimburse
• administrative tasks—such as answering phone calls, receiving deliveries and in-kind donations, welcoming volunteers and guests, and entering/modifying contacts in Carebase; 
• program support—such as supporting the warehouse and inventory processes.
• volunteer and donor-related data entry and providing overall support to ensure a functioning office and warehouse.

• assist with additional unforeseen tasks pertaining to the operations of There With Care that arise in the future, in line with the values of There With Care.

Compensation and Benefits

• Position begins Mid-Late April
• Salary Range $20-$22 per hour, based on experience
• Part-time, 20-24 hours per week, Monday – Friday
• Vacation, and Sick leave
